Works, but it is NOT QUITE THE CORRECT WRENCH for a 2016 Camry
While this filter wrench does fit over, and grab, the filter, it is NOT QUITE the correct wrench, as it does not fit deeply enough to engage the tabs/teeth on the filter housing of a 2016 Camry. Also, the comment at the description end says if the filter housing is on very tightly (as mine was!), you should use a 1″ hex socket, but a 1″ hex socket does not fit; the “nut” measures 26.6 mm, and my 27 mm socket fit loosely (I didnt have a 26 mm socket to try).
UPDATED:
After writing a review here, the seller immediately reached out to me to try to rectify my issues, offering me either an exchange or refund. When I didnt reply immediately, they got right back to me a day later. I commend them for having very attentive customer service!

Got the job done and saved a few bucks
Used the wrench to remove the oil filter from my Lexus 200ct.
On the positive the wrench has the appropriate slot placement to fit the oil filter cap and I was able to get the cap removed successfully.
The downside is the wrench fitment was a little too tight. It took a few strikes with a rubber malet to seat the wrench on the plastic oil filter cap.
Once seated i was easily able to attach my socket and the wrench didnt slip during removal.
I did have to tap the filter wrench in order to remove it from the filter cap after installing the new filter.
Overall it was cheap and did the job it was designed for.

Be sure use large sized Hex socket with Tool
This is 3rd brand of this type of filter wrench I have purchased,….SUPER IMPORTANT TO KNOW …only use the outer hex shape with large sized socket to remove filter cap from these newer style oil filters!
Company should warn customers NOT to use the 3/8 socket drive square on middle of wrench , the tool will crack!

Fits tight
Ive tried 2 other filter housing wrenches and both would slip off when I put the turn on them. This was tight! I had to tap it on with a hammer and it didnt slip at all, even with a long breaker bar.

Broke the first time I used it.
I went to change the oil in my daughters 2013 Corolla this weekend and it broke the first time using it. She recently bought this car and its the first time I had to change it. Whoever did it last put the filter on very tight. I didnt expect that to be a problem if I used a breaker bar. Well after applying some force to get it off, it cracked were the breaker bar went in making it useless. Fortunately a friend had one that I was able to borrow and theirs worked fine. Unfortunately I was a week past the return date. Will be looking for a better one to buy.
UPDATE: After they read this review, they said to contact them but dont really give me a way to do that that works.
UPDATE 2: They reached out to me and sent me a new one to try. Ive bumped it up to 3 stars for their effort. Ill update this again once I have the chance to try this one.
Update 3: I finally got to try it after 3 months and it works well.

It Fits a 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 Oil Filter
Update 05/27/2020. It worked as anticipated. Encountered “zero” issues. Removed an over tighten oil filter that Honda applied six months ago. Thank you again!
This cap wrench is meant for a 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 engine. I had gone to my local auto store, and they didnt have the oil filter cap wrench that would fit snug. I contacted the Honda Dealer to get the proper specs of the filter used. Of the six cylinders vehicles that I have had in the past, this filer is very small. I learned that is is important to count the number of flutes on the filter.
I did find the pictures posted for this post a little confusing. The filter cap for sale is displayed, and below that indicates “vs” and the oil filter cap wrench looks identical, but is broken. The section were you insert the sock wrench is broken off, and the tab(s) are broken.
i havent used wrench cap as of yet. But once used (this week), should I encounter any issues, I will let the seller know in a timely fashion. People (Buyers) have a tendency of waiting too long in contacting the seller or to initiate a return.

Fits a 2018 highlander
You wouldnt need this filter wrench if the people at the dealership wouldnt use impact wrenches to put on your oil filter. But they do use impact wrenches to place your oil filters so you need this tool.
I had to use a Milwaukee 20 V half-inch impact to get my filter off and this socket stood up to the beating.
TS –
Works perfectly!!
Tool was awesome and less than half of what the parts store was charging. The only issue I had was the filter casing was stuck and the tool kept slipping but I dont think it was the tool rather the previous oil change that was done was over tightened.

It works
The fit is very tight. So tight I had to apply some lube to it so it would go on. Once it is on the canister I used an impact wrench to get it to turn. Worked perfectly without damage to any parts.

Close quarters to remove filter.
May fit actual Honda brand filter, but does not fit Fram 7317 filter specified for car. I now have 3 “cap” type that will not remove the Fram I have use. Next oil change I am waiting for the $29.99 dealer special and then will see if this works for the following change. Got a claw type that I can probably fit at some point.

This product rocks. 64 mm, 14 flutes, 3/8 socket to remove and replace. Fits the filter perfectly. Aluminum construction; no rust. Fitment for Acura MDX.

This wrench help up to 200lbs of torque….great aluminum casting. 26mm socket. Used on highlander
The shop I bought my 2016 Highlander over-torqued the cap (had to have been an impact wrench) to at least 100lbs. I had to turn up my impact wrench to the 150-300lbs setting before the cap came loose! This version of the filter wrench socket accepts a 3/8 square drive or a 26mm socket. I put about 60lbs on the 3/8″ drive with a breaker bar and the wrench did not fail. I then tried my 1/4 150ft/lb impact. It wouldnt budge. The 26mm socket and the variable impact wrench (1100lbs take off) got it off and the wrench has minimal wear from the ridiculous job that was required to free the (factory 25 ft/lb spec) aluminum oil filter cap. Its a well-made filter wrench/socket with a thick design and good quality aluminum and casting.

Making the work easier
my first oil change on my 2005 Element,
It became a challenge,
I couldnt get it off. I tried
Different oil filter removers. The limited space and the tightness of the filter made it a challenge. as you can see in the photos, I tried putting padding on one of the oil filter removers because it would not grip to remove the filter. Eventually I was able to remove it. now the second time around, with this tool, it made the job a breeze. I can even use it on my Accord.

Should Have Purchased Toyota Tool
2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road: Athough this tool did the job, it was difficult to get a firm grip on the filter housing. Had to push it hard against the housing with one hand, while pulling the breaker bar with the other. A more expensive Motivx or Toyota wrench would be my recommendation for the aforementioned truck,.

Worked as expected
Easy to use, seems pretty solid and the price was fair.

Fits 2018 Toyota Tacoma
Tried it based on the size that I need for Toyota n Lexus filters. Managed to take out a tight filter that dealer always tightened too tight. Likely by an impact gun. Used a long 1/2 drive breaker bar to remove cap but did not damage it. Was so close to give up but after the third try I broke loose the cap. Wrench remain intact no damage. Just a wear mark on the socket drive. Happy to have it

Great for getting a filter to spec
Great for getting OEM motorcycle oil filters torqued to anywhere from 13 to 19 lb-ft. Havent tried any higher torquing and havent tried removing filers with it as Ive seen other reviews have thiers break. Just going to use it to torque filters to specification! I feel like it would hold up pretty well for most things if you used the 27 mm socket to go over the whole turning nut, but I would also say its not for breaking loose stuck filters.

Happy father.
My dad loved it because he loves tuning his cars and when he changes the filters he gets desperate, so I decided to buy him a key and he was fascinated.

This product performed much more efficiently than a cheaper version that I had picked up at WALMART where I had also purchased motor oil and a filter for my wife’s ‘13 Corolla.
Incidentally, the cheaper version cracked and eventually split in two!
