- Fit for the flip hood and replace easily damaged plastic fasteners. Fit for fiber-metal 2090 with 3C headgear too
- Due to different helmets design, if you want to make the fasteners tighter, It’s recommended to put 1/4″ external tooth lock washers on them and they will hold very strong.

The plastics were better
These slip more than the original plastic fasteners. My hood does not stay up as long and I find myself tightening more than with the original plastic ones. Buyers beware!

Blue thread locker works well
Well worth the money, much better than replacing the plastic ones every so often. Order a few extra to sell the other welders, because they will want a pair once they see you with them.

Why aren’t these a standard thing on these hoods??
There are few things more satisfying than getting rid of threaded plastic parts and replacing them with a well made solution.

Perfect for my Tigerhood
Great replacement for the cheap plastic nuts on my Tigerhood (which I stripped). Came in quick and installed easy enough nice not having my helmet falling in my face anymore while fitting.

If you are tired of changing broken plastic
They hold great, so far so good, if you are fed up by changing the plastic ones, this is the way, yeah a bit pricey but is a one time deal (at least for me), so try them, nothing to loose here
