Real nice but…
Strong and wont strip but they dont stay tight for long. Moving your hood up and down loosens them.

Good product great price
Great product they work just as good as the ones from outlaw but if Im goin to be picky the grip on these are not as good but they are definitely worth the price . Ill be using these from now on , considering it took outlaw 2 1/2 months to get my order to me

Good product
It is nice having metal tension bolts. They fit perfectly and should last for a long time. However they have a tendency to loosen as the hood goes up and down so they need to be tightened every 30-60 minutes.

Good product just needs a little better design
I like them good product but the only thing I dont like about them is they loosen off too easy I think they need a small set screw to lock them into place when you adjust them to your comfort

Welding hood screws

Ok i guess.
I liked that they dont strip like the plastic fasteners but they still loosen up as the hood goes up and down.

Looks like they will last.
Cheaper than other places where you can get these. Get loose just the same as the plastic ones. Doesnt look like they will break in the middle of the day between two rods. Which is why I got them. Time will tell. Im thinking of putting some lock tight on. Might help.

Does exactly what I expected. I would have liked a bit longer stud, maybe a 1/4″ longer, and Id be able to apply them to many other types of headgear.

Cross threaded knob
Bought 3 sets of knobs. The 2 silver sets were fine but the black set was cross threaded and wont tighten all the way rendering it useless.

Must have for professional welding.
Huge improvement over the ones that come with a typical welding hood. Had them for about a year and they dont wear out. My hood gets loose very seldom now. Im putting these with ever helmet I buy from now on.
