Had my doubts that this was another soft metal knockoff that wasnt going to work, but it did. Had to pull the clutch on a 2000 Polaris Trail Boss and it was a little tough but the tool worked as advertised. I will use anti-seize compound on the reinstallation and it will not be as challenging the next time I need to remove the clutch.

I took the tool out of the package and screwed it in, then hit it with the impact and my clutch popped right off. Great product, well worth the money.

1995 Polaris Big Boss
This worked great! Tried to make my own and wish i would have bought this from the get go. Use it to pull the clutch off of a 1995 Polaris Big boss 400 that has been sitting for a while. used a 400 ftlb impact and it popped it right off with ease. Worth the money.

Worked once and bent during clutch removal.
Worked as designed. Seems weak and now has a slight bend after one use. Not sure if I can use this again.

Perfect. Worked great to remove the primary drive clutch on my 2002 Polaris Sportsman 700 Twin.

Just what I needed
Puller worked exactly as it should. Just know for Polaris sportsman 850sp or similar models you WILL need to pull the rear axle in order to fit the puller into the Center of the clutch not a huge deal but worked as advertised and a must have if you own or plan to work on your own machine. You can make your own but for the price of this might as well own the proper tool.

Bought this puller as its listed for rzr. Tried to use this puller and it didnt work. Bought a name brand puller and was able to get the clutch right off with no effort. Wouldnt buy this product.

Works fine but received covered in rust.
Tool worked as designed however received covered in rust. I wire brushed and oiled it and its good enough for a tool that will see infrequent use. Not thrilled with the rust but I didnt have time to return it. Oh well.

Worked perfectly for pulling the primary clutch on my 2015 Polaris Ranger 570 midsize. Take the bolt out and screw it in and the clutch pops out, that easy.

The extractor seems to be the right size and the thread seems correct. However the tool is not coated with a finish and it is rusty which suggests an average quality.

The tool I received worked as advertised. Very pleased. Reduced the rating because the tool is not the hardened material I expected. It started getting surface oxidation shortly after using it.

Doesn’t work with rzr 800
It is too long to work on my rzr. Not enough clearance between clutch and gas tank.

Worked great to pull the primary clutch on a 96 indy 500. I had to torque on it a ton too because the clutch was stuck really tight. Didnt notice any bend or stretch to the puller. Did have a little rust but i just wiped it down with a grease rag and it seemed just fine to me. Was a great value compared to the same brand name puller.

Its a solid tool. Not very refined but functional works well with some grease on the threads.

The puller itself was very rusty and somewhat dinged slightly on the threads when I received it although shipping was fast. However, it did work to pull the clutches on my 1995 Polaris Magnum 425 and 1996 Xplorer 300 as I had to pull the clutches to replace starters. 5 stars overall still.

Aside from it coming with a rusty powder film on it. Which was quickly cleaned up with the bench grinder with a wire brush on and sprayed with some WD40, it worked perfectly.

Tool was very rusty right out of packaging. Looked like it had been riding in the bed of someones pickup truck for quite some time. But I really needed it and couldnt wait on a replacement so I cleaned it up and used it. Worked as it should.

Pitch diameter of threads was off. Started to strip out the threads in the primary drive.
Threads are not very good quality. Almost ruined my primary. Even applied lubricant to the puller so I would not mar or damage the threads. Had to take it in and have the threads chased so it would work.

The thread pattern listed is not what I received and therefor did not work for pulling out my clutch. I had to use a die to re-thread to the correct pattern and then it worked just fine. It wasnt worth the time or hassle to try to send back and hope that a replacement would be the correct size.

Damaged threads
The product came in a zip top bag with no protection whatsoever. It looks like its been kicked around a shop floor for 15 years… the threads are pretty mangled. I tried it, hand threading it so as to not damage the threads on my clutch. Got tight in a couple places, but was able to serve its purpose and remove the primary clutch.

Too long to work on a 2009 polaris rzr 800.. hopefully itll work on my sled.. sigh.

You need to cut it apart for it to work, then it works fine.
Worked fine when I had pulled my entire drivetrain out and went to pull the primary out of the machine. But when I went to use it to pull primary with the motor still in (so I could pull just the motor) i either had to cut it in half or pull the entire fuel tank. So obviously I cut it in half… it enables you to slide the unthreaded portion in, then youll be able to get the threaded part onto the primary as you need to. After that, I was able to break the primary free.

Bought this to change the clutch in my 2009 Polaris Ranger 700 Crew. It worked fine, except that the clutch was stuck. Using a variation of a video I saw on YouTube, I packed the bolthole of the clutch with petroleum jelly, and then used this tool to remove the clutch. It came out smoothly and easily.

Clutch for side by side A lock nut in the clutch was not properly tightened. It backed off after installation and caused clutch to not shift properly. I was able to tightened down and now hoping that it will stay tightened properly. The tool purchase to change the clutch stripped out after one use.
