Worked for about 5 min
The part itself isnt hard to install as much as its just a pain in the butt but not sellers problem and so after a few hours of removing back seat and all that comes with changing these 2 parts we started truck before putting it back together to make sure it worked..it did, an hour later we have carpet back in place and seats in, drove around corner all of the sudden needle dropped to E…..6 months later its still broke its just tiresome to think of doing it again

Much better deal than dealer pricing
2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.
Was getting fuel level sensor engine codes, and gas gauge was not working. Installed these a few months ago and gas gauge immediately started working again and engine codes cleared. I live in Pennsylvania, so I had to correct the issue to pass state inspection.
So far so good. Far better price than the Hyundai dealer. With labor and parts the estimate was over $500. By doing it myself I was able to save a ton of money. It did require some time and effort, but well worth the savings.

Im sure the money saved by doing the job myself was worth it . If you have the tools needed as well as basic knowledge and take the time to watch at least one detailed video available on the internet. Yes take the time and do it yourself . Helps to have the correct fuel tank lock ring tool !

Poor quality
Bad investment since they are not the expected results, the fuel float does not always work, it is always the same problem with the needle that it is not known what level of fuel is in the tank.

Fixed the erratic fuel level and miles to empty issues
Product itself was easy to install, once the back seat was removed from my daughters 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. The new sensors solved the issues with the fuel gauge and the miles to empty computation. Installing the sensors myself took approximately 2.5 hours, most of that time was spent removing and reinstalling the back seat to provide access to the fuel tank. Saved hundreds of dollars by doing the repair myself.

Buy OEM
Do not work properly. I replaced both floats and works great when tank is full. Once it gets below full my average consumption resets itself at every traffic light and when Im sitting idle for more than 30 seconds. I recommend if your going to replace your floats buy OEM.

replaced the bad factory units. wanted to wait a bit b4 my review. so far so good . the replaced parts have been working as it should. I will say to buy the ring removal tool makes life easier.

Installed two of these in May. Working great.
Came with everything I needed to fix my 07 Santa Fe. I would not attempt to do this job without a Fuel lock ring removal tool. Getting the locks off and on is the hardest part of installing these. Once you get to the fuel pumps, swapping this out with the existing one is straight forward.
I installed these three months ago, hopefully they will last 15 years like the originals did.
