You will need a machine shop to remove the old one and install the new one.

Life saving… The dealer mount costs a lot but it is a complete part. This one is just the mount. It needs a hydraulic press to be installed in the mount (remove the old one too). Not very hard to do though…

No more clunk
Pressed the old one out and pressed this one in no problem. Way better than over paying for some poly junk or having to buy a whole new cross member from GM.

Perfect replacement part
Had a clunking noise every time I would let off of the gas pedal. Took crossmember off and had a mechanic press the new bushing in. Very simple to do and works perfect, no more clunking noise

My local mechanic tried to get me to buy the part through him at a discount. But this was still less expensive and worked perfectly fine. I would definitely recommend apart. I bought it for my 2007 Hummer H3.

This worked perfectly to replace the worn out carrier bushing on my 08 H3 Hummer Alpha. I took the bushing to the shop with my vehicle. They removed the cross member, pressed the old bushing out, pressed the new one in, and reinstalled the cross member in less than an hour.
