The new dip stick fits perfectly for my 2006 300c

too long by 2 inches
was way too long for our 2006 grand caravan with 3.3 engine

Incorrect length dip stick for advertised vehicles!
This dip stick is shorter than factory and hash marks for oil levels do not line up either. I? recommend purchasing from an expensive dealer as this part is a waste of people time and money! Disappointed!!!

I wanted to get closest to the original and closest to the best cheap is what caused this in the 1st place Im really happy with this product I believe I paid 2 or $3 more then the low end ones. I used a drill bit and a sheet rock screw 2″ long to pull out the old one there is a piece of metal inside the yellow plastic sheet rock screws have Very large space out threads. Which is perfect for getting a fast quick bite on a small hole without actually having to Go deep at all with the screw it has A-sharp point and grips quickly that is my suggestion .I looked at several answers ,solutions , tips. At the end of the Day after looking at my options and not wanting to pay someone or make a bigger problem this that I just shared with you worked like a charm and I would not go any other route. Just use a small bit Something thats not going to break perhaps a metal bit As in a bit that will drill through metal . You dont want to take a chance breaking a old cheap wooden bit off into the head. thats a one shot deal. Especially if its deep I. There like mine was. I was one qt and a 1/2 low on my Dodge Charger 2007 RT 5.7 l engine I just bought it needed to check the Oil trust me use a sheet rock screw & a small strong bit. Drill a hole just deep enough for the screw to get a bite. The screw is sharp enough to do most of what you need to get a good bite on it and I left the screw in there for a week before I got the dipstick it was still sticking up I just snug it up. Get a good dipstick this is a good one the readouts good the head on it is good dont be cheap when it comes to your engine

Replacement part works as intended.
The plastic handle of the original dipstick broke off below the opening — so I drove a long screw with a screwdriver down into the plastic inside the tube and then used needle nose pliers to grab the screw and extract the old dip-stick.
