Good product, but time consuming
Took some time to put together and some time to figure out the instructions. Once I figured out how its put together, it took more time to install it on my civic. All in all it was a challenging project and somewhat fun. At the end, I was satisfied by the lock and saved me tons of $ if a shop replaced it for me.

Great value! It takes patience, but worth it in my opinion
I bought this to fix/replace my drivers side key cylinder on my 2004 Honda Civic 2 door coupe, which was no longer able to turn with my key. This kit allow me to build a new cylinder, keyed for my existing set, in order to replace my old defective cylinder. Although I didnt need it, some materials were provided to replace the passenger door cylinder as well. It was a process learning how to build the new cylinder, but with plenty of masking tape and patience, it got done.

I even had enough material left over to refurbish my old key cylinder with the extra pins/spings. Now Ill have an extra key cylinder on hand, with still even more materials remaining, if the unlikely event happens where I need to do this repair again. Its a great value and I highly recommend to anyone who can put up with the rebuild process.

Repaired Odyssey Ignition switch
My Honda Odyssey suffered from a common Honda problem of key getting stuck or not working in ignition.
Although this kit is for the door locks it uses the same wafer tumblers as the ignition switch.
Wafers are coded so just replace old ones, that will probably be bent or broken, with the new ones in this kit and youre good to go.
There are good videos on YouTube showing how to remove the lock which are a great help.
The job is a bit fiddly so not for the faint of heart but will save you hundreds of dollars.

Does not include all the pins you may need.
Kit is missing the Y4 and Y3 pins. These are the round single pins that go into slot A. Not essential because to be honest if you are doing this you have an old car worth nothing and can just skip the pins.
I bought this because I needed it quicker then and I was concerned that the core and other non pin parts of the original locks would need to replaced once I got the locks apart.
Little to no use of the spare blank because again who is going to bother spending money getting a key cut when DIYing this.

Buen producto, funciona perfectamente
Ciertamente no es algo que se pueda realizar tan facil como reemplazar un bombillo, sin embargo con paciencia y algo de conocimiento del funcionamiento de los cilindros de puerta usted mismo puede reparar sus cerraduras con estos materiales,en mi caso me ha servido para varios cilindros inclusive el principal del timon dado que trae pines de varias medidas. Lo recomiendo para la mecanica del sabado en casa.

Least expensive for what I needed
I needed some Honda lock reeds so I could re-key an ignition lock cylinder. I didnt use the rest of the parts but I have them stashed away in case I ever do. The lock reeds and springs included worked fine for my purpose and the lock is working fine again.
