I have just sharpened my first bunch of tungsten with the sharpener it worked great. Super simple. I did use a drill on slow speed and did not force it tungsten into the wheel. The tungsten turned out great. Thanks for the great product!!!

Easy and accurate TIG electrode sharpening.
I use an electric screwdriver to chuck the electrode and spin the tip while it sharpens the electrode tip. Fast and efficient. A transparent safety barrier keeps the electrode grinding dust safely contained while shaping the tip. Grinder dust barrier is easily removed for dust disposal. Well made and a welcome improvement in time savings and tip shaping.

An economical tool to grind your tungsten electrodes.
I found I had to use a collet, rather than a chuck, to hold the diamond wheel shaft to achieve the correct height. And it can be a bit tricky to use the cut-off slot. But like with most things once the learning curve is complete, a very handy tool.

A good budget grinder.
A pro will buy one of those much expensive grinder but for a hobbyist this does a good job. One tip is to spray a little dry lubricant on the O-Rings and the clear head will rotate smoothly to go from hole.

biggest issue is trying to figure out how to use my Dremel with it
There are no real instructions that show you that you can remove the front part of the Dremel tool and then it screws into the unit. i like that you can see the grinding and the dust stays in the unit. i will recommend to my friends.

?Mentioned everything important in the video aside from Dremel rpm. Started at 5k and went up to 15k rpm which seemed to provide the smoothest tip.

Great product for a good price
This sharpener works great even with a cheap rotary unit. The enclosure does a good job of keeping the dust inside.

I have two recommendations for improvement…1) provide a hole in the top of the cover for tungsten tip flattening while the cover remains in place, and 2) provide a horizontal hole just above the abrasive disk (side of cover and aluminum) a little larger than the largest tungsten diameter to allow for cleaning up tungsten electrodes that have picked up metal during welding and are now too large for the sized holes (being flat with the disk will allow for faster resizing).

I have found this to be a very helpful tool that works fast at my workstation without the need to get up and go to the grinder.

I havent used it yet, but it looks to be everything it was advertised. It fit my “copycat” dremel tool nicely. My tool is from Autozone, BTW. But I like what I see.

Tungsten dust.
The tungsten dust will destroy the bearings in the Dremel. The Dremel is not constructed to prevent this since the product requires it to be used pointing up, allowing the dust unobstructed access to the bearings. The tungsten was inside the entire Dremel.

The cutting wheel height issue not resolved.
The height of the actual cutting wheel sits too high and many of the holes fall either below or level with the blade at its lowest position. They said they addressed this issue in the description, saying you should only have to set the height once, however even at the lowest possible setting it is way too high making the attachment unusable. It is not a user error but a design flaw. I have a dremel 4300 which is a very common and supposedly compatible rotary tool for the record. As expensive as this is you would think such an oversight would be an issue.
