Poor quality – the threads of the plug are very rough and cause resistance when screwed inside the bung. Also plug seems to be of inferior quality that the bung. Do not recommend this product.

Needs better quality check
Ordered 2, 1 bung has a burr right at the top of the thread making it useless. Need to order another one now.

I was able to weld this to my 2 inch exhaust perfectly. No issues using cheap Harbor Freight welder.

Perfect for fit but could use a sealing washer for the cap off.
Exactly what I was looking for! The only thing that it really needs is a sealing washer on the cap. That way when you weld this on you have everything you need instead of having a way for exhaust to leak out. Great for dirt bikes, ATV’s and Side by sides that are getting 02 sensors for EFI tuining.

The angle on the back doesnt work well with 2.25 and 3 exhaust. huge gap you have to weld. But still got them to work.

Price was great. However the plugs had different size hex keys and the threads on the bung varied in quality. A few bungs threading was fine and the rest were either completely flat, or double threaded.

and a great price! Just scuffed a little and welded in place. The saddle looked like it was made fro ~2.5″ pipe. It was quite easy to just grind a little bit to get the contour for 3″ pipe.

Adjust bung curvature to fit flush to your exhaust
Had to change the curvature of the bung to account for the 3in exhaust and have less gap in the welds, but that should be expected. Fit my GM O2 sensors just fine.

Good value, radius a bit tight for most exhaust
These worked well, the angle is meant for a very narrow pipe, maybe 1.5″ diameter pipe. Still welded (MIG) just fine on my 2″ steel pipe. I would leave the plug in so you dont get crap in the threads.

Was exactly as described. Nice that they came with plugs as well. I used them on my new dual 3 inch exhaust for bosch 4.9 o2 sensors for dual bank wide band. Worked as should. If installing yourself dont get the bungs to hot or they wont stay true.

Bungs for your bunghole
These o2 sensor bungs are ideal for welding into aftermarket exhaust to give you somewhere to mount an o2 sensor. Just drill a hole and weld these on. Be sure to use a little anti-sieze on the plugs if you use those.

I gave it 5 stars in everything because it doesnt leak, threads were good, and I welded it so it was bound to be perfect ?? on a serious note Im a welder by trade and had no issue after cleaning the protective oils off rigging them to the exhaust I built for my truck.

Quality Part
Going to install my first air-fuel gauge and needed to mount the oxygen sensor. Installed both bungs. My gauge only has 1 sensor but wanted to be able to move it side to side to tune the carb. Once the carb is set I plan to plug the other side. These came with the plugs so I can move the sensor and gauge to another car either on a temporary or permanent basis.

One of two useless
One on the right is useless. Hole for threads oversized and threads don’t protrude through to the top side. It just flat out wasn’t machined correctly…

Stripped out threads on bung
Looked great at first out of the box but when I took them to get them welded onto my exhaust, one of the bungs was stripped straight from the box. Couldn’t even repair the threads it was so bad. Had to buy a new bung which completely defeats the purpose of me buying it.

Finally a product that is worth its weight in gold, it seems that nothing you buy actually fits the component its suppost to work with and yet these simple little bungs can be so hard for a shop to make the curvature to fit its workpiece…anyhow this company got the arc just right and fits like a glove, great quality and im happy with it. This may seem trivial, but even though this item is somewhat self explainatory i still feel there should be some kind of direction(s) as how to impliment this task. But what do i know….

I have no issue with the quality of thee bung, but I wish the description would specify the pipe diameter used for the notch. The notch on the bung fits perfectly on my 1″ socket, which is about 1.33″ diameter. I bought these for my custom exhaust made with 2.5″ pipe, but with a notch for such a small diameter, I had about 1/8″ gap to fill at the high side of the notch. Alternatively, I could do some grinding to make them fit better, but I decided to return these and find some with a more appropriately sized notch.
